World Bank Consultant; former Executive Director, Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP)

Dr Wyn Ellis led the Sustainable Rice Platform from its inception over 13 years, developing it into a globally recognised initiative dedicated to transforming the rice sector through market-led and development-driven approaches.

He currently advises the World Bank on strategies to drive adoption of low-emission rice and leads a trade facilitation project in Laos. Over his career, he has contributed to sustainable agriculture and innovation projects with governments, development partners and academia across Asia and Africa.
