As a Senior Program Officer, Natural Climate Solutions for Verra, Nafil conducts quality control and quality assurance for carbon projects under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) program. He has significantly contributed to a large-scale review of various agricultural projects under the VCS program. Furthermore, he has also contributed to assessing different methods of measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) of sustainable rice activities to reduce methane emissions. Besides agricultural expertise, Nafil is also an expert in REDD+, where he contributes to enforcing requirements for REDD+ projects under the VCS program.
