Senior Standards Officer, ACFS

Dr. Namaporn Attaviroj is a Senior Professional Standard Officer at the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards (ACFS). With over a decade of experience, she has been instrumental in establishing over ten Thai Agricultural Standards (TAS) for rice, including Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). She spearheaded the development of the sustainable rice standard (TAS 4408-2022), promoting advanced agricultural techniques to combat climate change. Additionally, her standards align with ILO guidelines, ensuring human rights protection. An advocate for sustainable farming, she shares her knowledge for groups of farmers in Chai Nat and Nakhon Phanom provinces, driving progress in Thai agriculture with the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives’ 3S policy for food safety, security, and sustainability.
