Nana Kuenkel
Agriculture and Food Cluster Coordinator, GIZ Thailand
Since 2022, Dr. Nana Kuenkel has headed the Agriculture and Food Cluster at GIZ. She oversees a portfolio of agriculture, food and health projects in Thailand and ASEAN, which are implemented on behalf of the German government and co-financed by various international donors and the private sector.
Dr. Kuenkel has extensive experience in developing, implementing, and overseeing climate change and biodiversity projects with a focus on natural resources management for GIZ worldwide.
She has a background in agricultural economics and political science, holding doctorate and master degrees from Humboldt University Berlin and Freie Universitaet Berlin in Germany.
