Rustamaji

Rustamaji is a community development practitioner and agricultural facilitator with more than two decades of experience in sustainable agriculture, rural empowerment, and local economic development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Wangsa Manggala Yogyakarta. 

He began his career at the Lembaga Pengembangan Masyarakat Tani (LPMT), where he served as Programme Coordinator and Community Development Facilitator in Kulonprogo, Yogyakarta. He later became actively involved with Forum LSM DIY, serving as Managing Editor, Chief Editor, and Board Member, while also holding the position of Editorial Secretary at the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) Yogyakarta from 2006 to 2008. 

In parallel, he facilitated volunteer and small enterprise development initiatives, including with Jaringan Relawan Kemanusiaan (JRK) and PUPUK Yogyakarta, and supported women-led small enterprise development initiatives promoting local agro-based products. 

Since 2021, he has served as a cooperative board member in Cawas, Klaten. Rustamaji has also contributed to numerous research and data collection projects related to agricultural commodities, MSMEs, and farmer group development, and has participated in national-level training on human rights and advocacy with the Indonesian National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM).
