Chair, Board of Battambang Union of Agricultural Cooperatives

Yan Srey Yat is a dedicated agricultural leader and advocate for sustainable farming practices in Cambodia. As Chief of the Battambang Union of Agricultural Cooperatives, she plays a pivotal role in strengthening farmer networks, promoting inclusive market access and advancing regenerative agriculture.

Based in Svay Cheat Village, Battambang Province, she is both a practising farmer and SRP-authorised trainer, serving as Head of the Internal Management System (IMS) under the SRP scheme for BUAC. She coordinates contract farming initiatives and leads training programmes on cover crop seed production and market development.

A mother of two daughters, Ms Srey Yat brings a gender-inclusive lens to her work, championing women’s participation and leadership in agricultural decision-making.
