Dr Yvonne Pinto serves as the Director General of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). She has over 30 years of experience in technology, innovation, and international development. With a background in agricultural research, she spent 15 years in philanthropy investing in agriculture, enterprise, and education across Africa. She has worked with governments, UN agencies, and foundations, focusing on evidence-based solutions and the intersection of big data, science and sustainability.
